BeMeBetter is excited to announce the addition of Helen G. Worthington. Helen is joining the BeMeBetter staff in June 2023 and will have a variety of administrative and clinical supportive duties.

Helen G. Worthington recently graduated from New Mexico Highlands University (NMHU), earning her Bachelor of Social Work degree and completing her undergraduate internship with BeMeBetter. While completing her practicum, she provided Case Management services to BeMeBetter providers, clients, and their families. This enabled clients to reach their next level of personal growth while improving aspects of their situation. Helen exhibited dedication, passion, and caring, all the while earning Summa Cum Laude with an outstanding G.P.A. Helen has been accepted into NMHU’s Master of Social Work program and will begin classes in August 2023.

Social Work is her second career; she spent twenty-three years as a Dental Assistant, including eight concurrent years in the Army Reserves. She is drawn to Social Work due to personal life experiences and the desire to help vulnerable populations meet their potential. Helen’s professional goals are to obtain her Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) licensure and become a psychotherapist, where she can utilize her education and experience to guide others to achieve personal empowerment and well-being.
