Linda Ionta, LMSW
Linda was drawn to BeMeBetter after an outstanding career serving individuals and families in the areas of court appointed mediation, child and adult protection, and medical case management.
She changed her social work focus to clinical work and continues to help people on an individual basis. She was a program developer with juvenile justice and a community facilitator obtaining grants for programs that serve youth in New Mexico.
Her passion is to assist adolescents, and young adults achieve overall wellness and an improved quality of life through mental health, independent living skills, and empowerment.
Linda implements a generalist practice modality, such as CBT, to provide a safe, non-judgmental environment for therapy. She specializes with clients who need guidance and support – whether in mental health or life transitions. She includes parents and caregivers in youth care, and helps families navigate better parenting practices and improved communication for improved relationships.
