Christina Chavez, LCSW
Christina combines hospital, legal and clinical experience to help her clients move past addiction and trauma, whether that trauma is physical or emotional. She is also adept at finding and connecting families with resources to help to support and assist them. Always looking for solutions and strength-based methods, she believes that we all have the power to live a healthy, less stressed and rewarding life.
Christina uses talk, art, and journaling as forms of therapy for children, youth, their parents and families. She focuses on cognitive behavioral therapy, working from an approach of reframing negative events into positive, reframed coping mechanisms.
